product updates: march 31, 2026
a week of refinements that make the product meaningfully sharper. better images, fresher data, faster execution, and a landing page that finally tells the story.

tweet recency: only the last 10 minutes
parasol black was occasionally picking up stale tweets — posts from hours ago that had already been traded on. now there's a hard 10-minute recency filter on both the server-side tweet monitor and the client-side poll API.
tweets older than 10 minutes are silently skipped. when multiple fresh tweets exist, the most recent one wins — no more random selection. if you're watching an account that tweets every 5 minutes, parasol black will always launch on the newest one.
this matters because the edge in tweet-triggered launches is measured in seconds. a tweet that's 30 minutes old has already been seen by every sniper bot on the chain.

dramatically better token images
the token images were functional but generic. they looked like AI-generated crypto art because that's exactly what they were — the prompts were too vague.
we rewrote the entire image pipeline across three layers:
concept generation — the LLM that creates the coin concept now writes 80-150 word art direction briefs instead of 50-word descriptions. every prompt must specify six things: a hyper-specific subject (not "a frog" but "a massive bullfrog wearing a tiny crown, mouth open mid-croak"), material and texture (liquid mercury, cracked marble with gold kintsugi veins, crystallized honey), cinematic lighting (three distinct sources minimum), camera composition, atmospheric background, and mood.
DALL-E wrapper — the system prompt that wraps the concept's image prompt now mandates Octane/Unreal Engine 5 quality rendering, physically accurate reflections, micro-detail textures (pores, scratches, condensation), and complex multi-source lighting with volumetric atmosphere. no more "Solana memecoin token icon" as the opening line.
fallback prompts — when DALL-E rejects a prompt (content policy), the fallback used to be "abstract surreal icon" which produced nothing memorable. it's now a specific obsidian-and-molten-gold sculpture prompt with proper lighting and atmosphere.
the result: token images that look like high-end NFT art instead of generic crypto thumbnails. they stop the scroll at 64px.

priority fees bumped 5x: beating the snipers
dev buys were getting front-run. the bundled create+buy transaction (which is already atomic — no gap between create and buy) was landing too slowly because the priority fee was only 0.01 SOL.
new fees:
0.05 SOL (~$7-8) is competitive enough to land in the same slot as the creation. the bundled transaction is already the best anti-snipe mechanism — there's no window between create and buy for bots to exploit. the higher fee ensures it actually lands before the token appears on scanners.

X/twitter links on token pages
when parasol black creates a token, it stores the tweet URL in the pump.fun metadata. but the token page on parasol.so wasn't showing it — because it fetches data from Birdeye and GeckoTerminal, which don't index brand-new pump.fun tokens fast enough.
we added DexScreener as a third fallback data source. DexScreener indexes pump.fun tokens within minutes and returns social links from the IPFS metadata. even when Birdeye returns basic price data, if the social links are missing, the API now fetches DexScreener and merges the twitter/website/telegram links in.
the token page already rendered social links when they existed — they just weren't arriving for new tokens. now they do.

new agent avatars
all agents got refreshed avatars in a consistent comic book pop art style — bold ink outlines, Ben-Day halftone dots, dramatic speed lines, "ISSUE #1" badges.
the gender toggle on the agent creation page was updated to show the correct agent names for each style option.

landing page rebuilt
the hero was vague ("the game got harder"). now it opens with the real numbers:
36,400 tokens launch every day.
344 are worth trading.
below the hero, a new market pulse card shows live daily stats from the Solana trench: $357.6M volume (+88.1%), 453K traders (+31.9%), 36.4K tokens created (+94.0%), 344 graduated (+120.9%). visitors immediately see the scale of the market parasol operates in.
the social proof stats were updated from vague claims to specific, defensible numbers: 0.9% graduation rate, 6-layer manipulation filter, 500ms exit response time.
the SEO metadata was updated with the real market stats for better search snippets.
